Social Science
India has astounding diversity of religion, language and culture along with rich cultural heritage from North to South and East to West which is unique and unparallel. To enhance the creativity of the students we have designed Holiday Homework in a manner where student can think out of the box. Students are suppose to select any topic given below for the state assigned to them as per their Roll Numbers.

( Painting, Post Card, Wall Hanging, Collage Or Model)
Students can choose to depict any of  the below mentioned topic according to the state assigned to them as per their Roll Numbers
·         Any one heritage site of the state.
·         Any dance form of the state.
·         Traditional dress pattern of the state.
·         Any famous personality of the state.

·         Project File
·         Paste the political map of the state and include details about population, capital, area and language spoken in the state.
·         Information on any two heritage site of the state with picture and history.
·         Political and economic information on current Chief Minister, Governor, resources, per capita income etc.

·         Creativity: 5 marks
·         Originality: 5 marks
·         Theme/Content: 5 marks

Science
          
TOPIC- CELLU-TECH (MODEL ON TECHNOLOGY BEHIND CINEMA)
          Find the various technologies that have been used in film making in countries i.e. India,           Germany and UK and prepare  a 3D working or non working model on any one of them. Support the model with a suitable report and posters/banners.
          You can work on various technologies or equipment that have been used in the past for providing sound, color,motion, cinematography.
          Example- In earlier days the reels were colored with hands but now it’s all digital.
          So, you have to research and prepare the model on any one whether recently/previously           used technology.
          Guidelines:
·         Model should be 3-dimensional depicting properly the technique chosen.
·         Students can work in a group of 3 to 4.
·         Date of submission: 1st week of July’13
          Modes of evaluation: The model will be evaluated for 20 marks as a part of FA-II science           (special activity):
·         Knowledge and content-5 marks
·         Presentation-5 marks
·         Utility of resources-5 marks
·         Creativity-3 marks
·         Team work 2 marks
  
German
          A3 size poster in German on any one topic out of the following topics:
          1.       Liebe
          2.       Freundschaft
          3.       Ehrlichkeit

          Note : The poster should not only contain photographs but also small texts related to the  topics in German. All the written content in poster should be hand written.
